Exporting special characters in CSV

Your CSV isn't exporting special characters

Updated over a week ago

There are a wide range of special characters that fall outside of the standard (basic Latin) English set. In fact there are 128,000 of them 😳

The format we export our CSV files in supports Microsoft Excel. Unfortunately a Microsoft Excel CSV doesn't support these special characters known as UTF-8 format.

The primary workaround is to open your CSV file in Notepad/Text editor (you will notice it says ANSI), then re-save it as UTF-8 in Notepad.
