Enable/Disable search engines finding your organisation
Updated over a week ago

You can now control whether your TidyHQ site will appear in search engines*!

Go to Web Pages > Settings and at the bottom of the options is a checkbox to allow to be Visible to Public Search Engines.

Controlling search engines displaying your sites

This tells Google, Bing and other popular search engines to show your public TidyHQ site in their search results. Un-tick this box if you want to discourage search engines from displaying your site in search results.

If you want to tell search engines not to index your site, you should turn this setting off.

* Note: that it is still up to the search engine whether they follow or ignore this directive.

This setting is also available at Organisation Settings > Web Page Settings.

Also, in the case of a site not appearing and your organisation does want it to appear in searches, it may be necessary to help the process along (external link to WikiHow site).
