Controlling who can see and attend your Events

TidyHQ gives you two separate controls over who can access your events: who can see the event, and who can buy tickets. You can use either or both depending on what you need.

Controlling event visibility

By default, a published event is visible to anyone with the link. You can change this in the event's settings under Visible To.

Public β€” anyone visiting your public event page link can view the event.

Groups β€” only contacts in the groups you select can see the event. They'll need to be logged in to see it.

The Groups option is handy when event details β€” like the location, organiser contact, or pricing β€” are only appropriate for certain members to see.

πŸ’‘ Tip: If you don't have the right group set up yet, head to Contacts > Groups to create one first.

Controlling who can buy tickets

Visibility controls who can see your event β€” ticket restrictions control who can register or purchase. These are set at the ticket level and support restricting by membership level or requiring a pass code.
