What is the Scratch Pad?
What is the Scratch Pad?

A space for shared text.

Updated yesterday

The Scratch Pad is a text box accessible via your Organisation Settings.

As such, it is exclusive to administrators with Settings permissions.

It's a place where your club can store snippets of information which shouldn't be public, but are also not that sensitive, such as gate codes or WiFi passwords.

You could also use it to keep track of things like "who has the PO Box keys this week".

Some clubs also store documentation there, such as keeping track of whether it's the president, treasurer or secretary's email account which was used to sign up to any given thing...

We recommend that you don't store passwords for accounts of internet services in the Scratch Pad. Instead, use a dedicated password manager.

To access the Scratch Pad, click on Organisation Settings > Organisation Details > Scratch Pad.
