Adding TidyHQ to your email safe senders list and white list

Ensure that your emails, invites, invoices etc are delivered to your contacts' inbox, please advise them to add your organisation's TidyHQ email address to either your 'safe senders list' or 'white list'.

What's my TidyHQ organisation email address?

The email address your organisation's TidyHQ mail comes from is different for each organisation you are a part of.

Here's how you find out the email address for a specific organisation. If you're a member of multiple organisations you will need to do this for each one.

  1. Navigate to https://accounts.tidyhq.com/, login and select the organisation you're interested in.

  2. In the top-right corner, click your name, and choose "Contact Profile" from the dropdown menu.

  3. At the top of the Contact Profile, there will be text telling you which email addresses your organisation uses:

Specific Provider Instructions

BigPond Email Account

To request a white listing, send an email to BigPond Technical Support with either the original email as an attachment OR the following details:

  • Email address: @tidyhq.com AND organisation email addresses found using method described above.

  • Our official website: www.tidyhq.com, and

  • The reason for white listing.

Outlook.com / Windows Live / Hotmail Email Account

  1. Log in and click the "Settings" icon at the upper right-hand corner of the page. Choose "More Mail Settings" option.

  2. Under "Preventing junk email" section, click "Domain to mark as safe".

  3. Click "Safe senders".

  4. In the "Sender or domain to mark as safe" field, enter @tidyhq.com and click "Add to list".

  5. Repeat with organisation email addresses found using method described above, removing the portion before the @ symbol.

Outlook for Windows / Outlook for Mac / Microsoft Exchange

Following Microsoft's guide on how to add a contact:

  1. Add a contact for no-reply@tidyhq.com with any name.

  2. Repeat with organisation email addresses found using method described above.

Mac Email Account

  1. From your inbox, open an email from the Sender (look in junk folder).

  2. In the "From" line, click on the sender (your organisations name which contains the tidyhq.com or organisation email addresses found using method described above) to bring up an options box.

  3. Choose "Add to Contact" from the dropdown menu.

Gmail Email Account

  1. In the search bar at the top of the page, click the downward arrow for more options.

  2. In the "From" field, enter @tidyhq.com

  3. Click "Create filter with this search" at the bottom of this dropdown window.

  4. Choose "Never send it to Spam".

  5. Click "Create filter".

  6. Repeat with organisation email addresses found using method described above, removing the portion before the @ symbol.

Yahoo Email Account

  1. Log in and click the "Settings" icon at the upper right-hand corner of the page. Click "Settings".

  2. Under "Filters" section, click "Add".

  3. In the "Sender" field, enter @tidyhq.com under "Then deliver the email to the following folder" field, choose "Inbox" and click "Save".

  4. Repeat with organisation email addresses found using method described above, removing the portion before the @ symbol.

Company Email Account

If you are using a company email account to receive TidyHQ email, and the Microsoft Exchange instructions above don't work, you may need to get in touch with your IT team to organise whitelisting.

Other Email Account

Usually you can find information regarding your specific email provider's safe senders list or whitelisting procedure by reading their support documentation, or performing a web search for more information.

Many providers offer this feature, and usually the steps are similar to one of the specific providers we've outlined above.
