Getting Started

Click on Web Pages on the left hand grey side bar of your dashboard.

You'll then see this screen:

The first item listed is your Home page. This is a default setting and you are unable to delete this. However, you can edit the page either here or under Organisation Settings > Web Page Settings.

Once you have entered some basic information to introduce your browsers to your website, you can then proceed to create some more pages. To do this you need to Click on New Page - this will create a main menu item. In this example, the first one is Photos and Links.

When you click on New you will get the following options to choose from.

You use New Page when you want to set up any page within your site.

  1. Enter a title for your page.
  2. Enter the name of your Page in Menu. If this is a main menu item then these titles must match. However, if you want a Standalone Page, the "Name of Page in Menu" field should be blank.
  3. Enter your page content.
  4. Make your page Visible to the Public. If you want to create pages which are only visible to your members, for example, then click on Groups.
  5. When you're ready, click on Published. This will ensure your new page is visible on the Public Facing Page of your website. See image below.
  6. If you wish to Customise Social Sharing Details, then check this box as well. See image below.

Last step: Save and Close.

Alternatively, if you wish to continue creating pages for your new website, click on the Green Save button. You'll then be able to proceed to create more new pages.

You've now created your first page using Web Pages.

Adding additional pages to your menu item

Click on New Page.

In this example, you will notice that Page Title and Name of Page in Menu differ from Position in Menu.

This will ensure that your page will appear as a main menu item on your website.

You can also add attachments to your page.

Once you are happy with the set up, you can Save and Preview your page, Save your Page or Save and Close your page.

You will notice that you also have the option to Move your page to Trash. This will be very useful it at some time in the future you wish to remove that page from your website.

New Collection

Using this option will enable you to create a main menu item with sub menu items.

Once you've created your Collection, you have the option to edit the Collection Title, if you change your mind, without having to start from scratch.

Click on New Page

Following is a completed page to sit under Wine Appreciation

In this example, you'll see that the Position in Menu is Wine Appreciation, but the page has it's own unique title and name of page in menu (these two titles must match).

Adding another page is just as simple, again Click on New Page. The example below is the second page in the Wine Appreciation collection.

As you can see in this page, the Page Title and Name of Page in Menu match, but the Position in Menu is again Wine Appreciation.

Your set up page will look as follows:

And will appear on your website:

Note the drop down box adjacent the Main Menu item "Wine Appreciation".

You may wish to link to an external website. To do this Click on New External Link.

Type in the URL of the website you wish to connect to.

This has been published and appears in your website as follows:

There you have it. A simple and easy way to create a beautiful website for your organisation without having to use an external web creator such as Wordpress or pay for another organisation to host your custom website.
