PlayHQ has quickly become one of the most prominent Competitions & Registration Platforms available in the Marketplace, and is used by many Organisations. Unfortunately at the time of writing this article, we do not have an Integration in place with PlayHQ, like we do with SportsTG's GameDay.
Not to worry, the process of exporting data from PlayHQ into TidyHQ is relatively quick and painless, and once you've followed the processes below, it will become second nature pretty quickly.
Step by Step Instructions
Important Note: The instructions provided for PlayHQ are general in nature only, and may not fit exactly with your Club/Organisations experiences with PlayHQ.
Step 1 - Run a Participation Report in PlayHQ
Navigate to Reports > Participation Report in PlayHQ.
Step 2 - Enter Report Details
Enter the Report Details from the Drop Downs available, all of which must be filled;
Organisation - Your Organisation
Competition - The Competition that Members will have signed up for, this will include roles such as Players, Coaches, Team Managers & Volunteers
Season - The season you're running the report for.
Click Generate. This will run the report using the variables you specified, and will prompt you with a message at the bottom of the screen to 'Go to Generated Reports'
Step 3 - Download the Report
Go to the Generated Reports page, this will show all of the Reports you've generated with the most recent displaying. Once the Status updates to Generated, a DOWNLOAD CSV button will appear at the right of screen, this process may take a little while to create the file.
Click the Download CSV button, and your file will commence downloading.
Step 4 - Upload the PlayHQ Report into TidyHQ
After you've successfully downloaded the CSV File from PlayHQ, it's time to upload it into TidyHQ.
Note: From this point on, if you're stuck, the TidyHQ Support team will be able to provide support more effectively.
Instructions on Uploading the PlayHQ Data are the same as any other Import, detailed instructions are available HERE. However, the video below gives a quick overview on performing this Import too.
We strongly recommend you divide up your CSV based on the Roles in PlayHQ into seperate import files, so that Coaches, Volunteers, etc. are not caught up in the same Groups as Players, and to reduce manually having to manipulate the data in TidyHQ.
Important Notes:
Please ensure dates are formatted correctly when preparing your CSV.
Duplicates may arise during the import process - after reviewing your import data, we suggest using the Possible Duplicates Tool. Support Article available HERE.
