Admins are assigned special permissions in the Tidy system and interact with end customers and members as needed to run the various aspects of the organisation. Admins are typically individuals who form the majority of an organisation's committee members or extended staff.
Admins, usually members of the committee but can be any contact/member, can be allocated Admin Rights to view and edit areas within your Organisation's TidyHQ.
Note: Admin Rights do not have expiry dates.
If a Contact is granted Admin Rights, the rights allocated are available to the Contact until altered or revoked by another Administrator.
Adding an administrator
To add an Administrator to your Organisation, go to Organisation Settings > Admins and Roles.
Invite
Click the blue Invite Admin button on the top right.
For a contact already existing in your TidyHQ:
Enter their email address
TidyHQ will send them an invitation email with a link to login
For a new Contact:
You can enter the email of a person who is not yet in your TidyHQ as a Contact
They will receive an invitation to create a profile and login.
Assign permissions
Select the TidyHQ Admin permissions relevant to their position/role within the organisation. See here for more information on what power an Administrator gets if you give them each App.
NOTE: Only Organisations on a Pro plan will be able to select relevant permissions for various Apps. Organisations on our Starter plan are only able to give each Administrator full access to the entire platform. See here for further details on our plans.
