How do I change the Account Owner?

The Account Owner is usually the user that created the organisation's TidyHQ account.

Each organisation's TidyHQ account has one Account Owner - typically this is the user that created the organisation's TidyHQ account to begin with.

There can only be one Account Owner; however, account ownership can be reassigned by the Account Owner to another administrator if needed. The Organisation Account Owner always has permissions over all other Users and the only one that can cancel the account.

Note: Only the Account Owner can take the actions below, as the option will not appear for other Administrators.

Changing Account Owners

Go to Organisation Settings > Organisation Account Owner.

In the "New Organisation Account Owner" box, type the name of the Administrator you wish to transfer ownership to, and click Change Account Owner.

A box will appear asking you to confirm you are sure you wish to change Account Owners. Click OK.
