Change the main image, turn on or off sponsors, events, announcements etc.

To edit your Home Page, go to Web Pages, then click Edit on the far right of the "Home" row.

Your Home Page is made up of several area and "Blocks" that can be configured to suit your requirements.

1. Hero Image

A "hero" image of, preferably, 1920x500px. A hero image is also known as the banner or masthead image (or that really big image at the top of the page). If you don't enter your own image, the sky (default) image will remain.

2. Information

The text field where you enter the description and useful information about your Organisation that you may want to add.

3. Sponsors Block

Controls the appearance of the Sponsor images (upload these images, typically the sponsors logo, from the Sponsor tab of the Web Page Settings). You can...

  • choose whether to display this block or not, using the "Hide Sponsors Block" checkbox

  • If required, add a "Sponsors Block Title" which will display above the sponsor images (which can be added in the Sponsors tab of Web Page Settings)

  • A description or lead-in text can be added using the "Sponsor Block Description". This will add text below the "Sponsors Block Title" and above your Sponsor images.

  • Sponsor Images will be resized to 80 px high (with proportional width)

4. Events Blocks

Controls the appearance (or not) of the Event details (using the checkbox).

5. Announcement Block

You can include an Announcement on your Home Page that will grab attention eg "Renew your Membership now!" If enabled, it will appear above the page navigation menu.

To enable Announcements, click the checkbox. Then complete the following:

  • "Announcement Text" - keep it brief and pithy to give people an idea of what the Announcement is

  • The "Announcement Call-To-Action" is the bolded link title (next to the Announcement Text).

  • "Call-To-Action Target URL" - is the link that will take people where you want them to go!

6. Social Media Settings

When enabled (using the checkbox), you can set a Title, Description and Image displayed when the Home Page is shared to social media networks, such as Facebook.
