Locked Fields πŸ”’: Take Control of Your Contact Data

New Locked Fields feature designed to give you even more control over your contact records.

Updated over a week ago

πŸ” Lock and Unlock Fields with Ease

Now, you can edit a contact record and designate specific fields as "locked", preventing both the contact and administrators from making changes until the field is unlocked by an administrator. This feature is perfect for improving your organisation's workflows, especially in compliance-related areas.

πŸ“… Verify and Secure Important Information

For example, you can verify a contact's date of birth by checking their ID and then lock the DOB field to ensure it remains unchanged. This is particularly useful for organisations with policies or legal requirements surrounding age verification for 18+ events.

πŸ‘Ά Keep Children Safe with Locked Checks

Another application is validating a Working with Children Check, recording it in a custom field, and then locking the field to prevent any changes.

🚫 Inform Contacts of Locked Fields

When a contact tries to modify a locked field, they will receive a notification informing them that the field is locked and to contact the organisation for assistance.
