Welcome to our guide on integrating TidyHQ with HubSpot through Zapier, adding new contacts to Hubspot from TidyHQ. Hubspot can be used for sending out emails with a generous free tier of 2,000 emails per month and unlimited contacts.
Step 1: Setting up the Trigger from TidyHQ
Log in to Zapier and click on the Create Zap button.
Choose TidyHQ as your Trigger and select the Contact Activated event.
Connect your TidyHQ account if you haven't already.
Test the trigger step and continue with the latest record.
Step 2: Use HubSpot as the Action
After setting your trigger, it's time to add an Action. Choose HubSpot as your action app.
Select the Create Contact action, and add connect your HubSpot account if you haven’t already.
Map TidyHQ contact fields to corresponding HubSpot contact properties. For example, map TidyHQ's 'First Name' to HubSpot's 'First Name' property, 'Last Name' to 'Last Name', and so forth.
Step 3: Test and Activate Your Zap
Test the HubSpot action step to ensure that contacts are created accurately in HubSpot. If the contact was made successfully, turn your Zap on.
Now, every time a new contact is added in TidyHQ, it will automatically reflect in HubSpot. Note that if the contact is already in HubSpot, it will detect this and prevent duplication as seen below.
