Tidy is more than just a revolutionary governance tool for your club and committee. It also enables easy access to online club information for your contacts and members, along with the ability to manage their profile and contact information.
Let's explore what it all looks like for your contacts and members.
Viewing club web pages in Tidy for contacts and members
Site visitors/contacts without a login will only see web pages that are both published and visible to public. These include the Home page, Events and Meetings.
Additional pages within your website will be automatically published when those apps are in use within your TidyHQ account. For example, if you have a Membership Level set to "public" view, and a payment gateway connected, then the Memberships page will automatically appear on your TidyHQ public-facing website. This also applies to the Shop and any Meetings you set to "public" view.
Site visitors/contacts who are both members and belong to a contact group can access public pages and pages that are published and visible to their groups.
Clubs can make certain information available to particular Groups (e.g. 2024 Members group) or individuals (they must be logged in to see these options).
Once a Contact is logged in, they will then be able to access their own Profile.
Contact account access and editing the profile
1. Account Settings
In the TidyHQ Account Settings the Contact can change their password and even change the email address with which they login to TidyHQ.
Note: The TidyHQ Account email address may be different to the contact profile email address, which is where the Contact receives communication from your organisation. It's all explained here.
2. Member / Contact profile
Once logged in, Contacts are able to view their:
Profile - contact email, phone number etc,
Schedule - Meetings, Events etc,
Memberships - including their Membership's expiry date
Transactions - including viewing receipts and changing credit card details on payment processing partners
Invoices - any outstanding monies due
Contact profile
Here, the Contact is able to edit any personal information (email, address, phone number etc).
The email address in their Profile is the one to which any communication from the Organisation will be sent (as all discussed here).
Schedule
Contacts can view their Schedule, which will include information regarding any Tasks that have been allocated to them, Meetings they've been invited to and Events they will be attending.
Memberships
Contacts can view their Membership details (and if enabled by the club, add a digital membership card to Apple or Google Wallet).
Transactions
Under Transactions, a Contact will be able to view any payments they have made and the receipts. They'll also be able to update their Credit Card details that are used for membership auto-renew payments by clicking on the Credit Card tab.
Invoices
This section only shows if the Contact has any outstanding invoices. The invoice will display the Due Date, Number and Reference for easy identification. The contact can print the invoice from this view, which provides full invoice information.
If the organisation has a connected payment option setup, then Invoices can be paid by selecting the Pay Now button.
