Using Stripe or PayPal
Using Stripe or PayPal allows your members and contacts to make payments by their credit card or, in the case of PayPal either their credit card or their PayPal account.
Stripe provides a way for individuals and businesses to accept payments over the internet. It is a user friendly way to accept payments online and in mobile apps.
Stripe is free to setup and run and connects to your existing bank account…. plus it means you can control refunds through our platform!
This payment service charges its own fees (which varies depending on the country of your Stripe account and the currency you charge in) and also attracts the TidyHQ 1.5% + 30c service fee (payable by the customer - this fee differs dependent on the Plan you are signed up to)
For Australian organisations, the Stripe fee is 1.75% + 30 cents (check the Stripe site for other country information).

If one of your supporters disputes a charge, Ensure the treasurer raises a chargeback immediately. If it's not sorted out out in time, Stripe will deduct from their Stripe balance.
PayPal also provides a way for individuals and businesses to accept payments over the internet.
Your organisation will need to have a PayPal Business or Premier Account to accept payments via TidyHQ.
There are no set-up or cancellation fees with PayPal. For Australian organisations, the PayPal fee is 2.6% + $0.30 per domestic sale (which varies depending on the country of your PayPal account and the currency you charge in).
At this stage, recurring payments (automatic Membership renewal payments) cannot be made using PayPal.
