Registering a membership for someone else

Creating a membership for someone else sets up a Family Link.

Updated over 6 months ago

In TidyHQ, you can register memberships for someone else. Usually this will be a parent/carer registering a membership for their child / supported person.

We'll call the person doing the registration the "Primary" contact and the person being registered the "Secondary" contact.

This will establish a Family Link between the Primary and the Secondary, with the Primary having access to edit the Secondary's contact details and also being set as the billing contact.

If you're an Admin looking to manually register a membership, please use the admin interface as described in this article.

Choose the desired membership level and proceed as normal to the Member Selection screen. Then, fill out the following fields:

  1. Who is this membership for? Someone else

  2. Enter first and last name

  3. Choose if the membership is for an adult or child.

Then proceed with the remainder of the registration steps.
