Your organisation uses TidyHQ to manage memberships, events, and communications. This article covers how to get back in once your account is set up, and what you'll find in your member portal.
If this is your very first time logging in, head to Logging in for the first time first — it walks you through creating your account and connecting it to your organisation.
Logging in
Go to your organisation's TidyHQ page and click Log In in the top right corner.
Enter your email address and click Continue.
Check your inbox — you'll get an email with two ways to sign in:
One-time code — copy the code from the email and paste it into the login prompt. Codes are valid for 30 minutes. If yours expires, click Resend. You'll need to wait 2 minutes between requests.
Magic link — click the button in the email to sign straight in. Especially handy on mobile, where switching between apps to copy a code is fiddly.
Each code is colour-coded to help tell them apart if you have a few sitting in your inbox. A code only works with the login prompt that requested it — once you've signed in, you can safely delete the email.
If you've set up a passkey, you'll be prompted to use that instead of receiving an email. See Passkeys for more.
Once you're signed in, click your initials in the top-right corner and select Contact Profile to open your member portal.
Your way around the member portal
The member portal is your personal space to manage everything related to your membership. Use the navigation on the left to move between sections.
Contact Profile
Your contact details — name, email address, phone number, address, and any other fields your organisation has set up. You can edit and save these at any time.
Your contact email (the address your organisation uses for invoices, newsletters, and event tickets) can be different to your login email. To update your login email, go to TidyHQ Account Settings from the top-right menu. See How do I change the account I log in with? for step-by-step instructions.
If you have linked contacts — for example, children linked to your account — you can switch between their profiles from this section to view and edit their details too.
Schedule
A personal view of what's coming up — events you've registered for, meetings you've been invited to, and tasks assigned to you.
Memberships
View your current and past memberships and check expiry dates. When your membership is coming up for renewal, you'll see a Renew button here. If your organisation has digital membership cards set up, you can also add yours to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from this section.
If you have linked contacts, their memberships will appear here too — you can renew on their behalf without needing a separate login.
See Renewing your membership and Managing your family's profiles for more.
Transactions
A record of all payments you've made to your organisation, with receipts. If you have a saved credit card on file for automatic renewal, you can view and manage it here too.
Invoices
Any outstanding invoices your organisation has issued will appear here. If your organisation has an online payment gateway connected, you'll see a Pay Now button to settle them directly.
Something not looking right?
If your membership isn't showing, or the portal looks different from what you'd expect, your login account may be linked to the wrong contact profile. This can happen with family memberships depending on the order they were registered. Your organisation's admin can fix this quickly — just get in touch with them directly.
