The Projects App in Tidy allows peak body organisations to set projects for their connected organisations.
Notifications are available both within the TidyHQ platform and via email, to let you know when things have changed within each project.

Where do I find my notifications?
You will find your notifications drop-down list by clicking on the small bell symbol at the top right of your TidyHQ administration screen.
You can also choose to have each notification sent to you as an email if you prefer. See how to change your notification preferences here.
The number of unread notifications you have will be displayed next to the "Notifications" heading of the drop down box.
Unread notifications will have a coloured stripe on the left hand side. To mark them as read, hover over the notification until the tick and cross symbols appear on the right. Once they appear, click the tick symbol to mark the notification as read. To archive the notification, click the cross symbol.
You can also navigate directly to the project or task the notification is related to, by clicking the "View Task" or "View Project" button contained within the notification.
When is a notification triggered?
Administrators who are owners of a project, or who have "Editor" permissions for a project, will receive notifications for the following:
A new comment has been made in the Discussions tab of a task within the project
A connected organisation has submitted a task for your approval (if the "task completion requires approval" setting is turned on for the project)
Administrators at connected organisations, who are the recipients of a project, will receive notifications for the following:
Another administrator from your organisation has accepted a new project on your organisation's behalf
You have been assigned a project task to complete
A project task you submitted for approval has been approved or rejected (if the "task completion requires approval" setting is turned on for the project)
A new comment has been made in the Discussions tab of a task within the project
A new project task has been added to an existing project
How do I control what notifications I get?
You can determine whether you get notifications within TidyHQ, via email or both.
To change your preferences, click on the Notifications bell symbol on the top right within the TidyHQ administration platform.
Click Notifications at the top of the drop down box, then click Preferences.
You can turn "General Project Notifications" and "Project Tasks Notifications" on and off using the toggle underneath their names.
"General Project Notifications" refers to notifications about new projects for your organisation. "Project Tasks Notifications" refers to notifications specific to project tasks, such as approval or rejection of tasks submitted and new comments being added to the Discussions tab of a project task.
To change the method by which you get notified, click Customize Delivery Channel then select Email to receive email notifications, and Inbox to receive in-app notifications via the bell symbol in TidyHQ. If there is a tick mark next to Email or Inbox, then you will receive notifications via that channel.
